I have sailed along numerous windswept island shores while being awestruck by sunsets so vivid they take yoiur breath away. Skiied mountain peaks during temperatures so cold your lungs hurt just to breathe - beauty beyond compare. Dived coral reefs where the colors and interaction of the tropical fish form a constantly changing kaleidoscope - a visual feast. Flown small planes and gliders over New England mountains and their valleys at the height of fall foliage where the beauty of it all is like nothing else in space/time. Started many businesses, owned restaurants, a most awesome country inn, had a real estate company, worked in crypto - allmost always worked for myself. I like working alone - though I worked well with my wife at the restaurant we started and country inn we bought. Traveled to many islands by plane and sailboat. Was in the Navy during Viet Nam fiasco stationed in Japan. I love Japan. The Japanese are a wonderful, courteous, respectful, intelligent, and character-filled people. Kudos to them in their time of trouble. Many of our vacations have started by just driving to the first intersection and taking a left or right and starting from there. What great adventure often awaits unknown, unseen, untouched - and yet unfolds delightfully in ways one could never imagine in ones wildest contemplations. I have tasted of life, not by sips and dainty toast points - but by gulping and swilling till I have been filled with adventure to the point of regurgitation which I will now set out to do by the tap - tap - tapping at my keyboard door.
